What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Clinic Float Patient Services Specialist position at Valley View Hospital Association?
Valley View is seeking a PRN Patient Services Specialist to float between our clinics!
Responsibilities include providing patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping physicians and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls for the office manager, physicians, and nurses appropriately. The Registrar also assists with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner. Patient care background preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clerical: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
- Exceptional customer service skills required.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Receptionist/clerical experience required.
- Patient care background preferred.
- Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred.
SALARY
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Wage range: $19.00 - $27.75/hour 14% PRN Differential Pay
