Part-Time • 3PM - 11PM • 4 days per pay period • every other weekend/holiday

Valley View is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the safety of residents, staff, and property. In this role, you will monitor building security, perform light custodial and maintenance tasks, and assist staff and residents as needed. This position is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in our community.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct building rounds to ensure doors are locked, security systems are operational, and no unauthorized personnel are present

• Monitor and investigate unusual observations, taking appropriate action or reporting as necessary

• Complete door lock and security checklists to document rounds

• Patrol Valley View Village and parking lots using a company vehicle, assisting as needed and identifying repair needs

• Escort staff safely to their vehicles upon request

• Open buildings for authorized entries

• Perform light custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash in assigned areas

• Report accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor

• Make minor repairs or submit maintenance requests as needed

• Perform other related duties as assigned
