Part-Time • 8AM - 4PM • 6 days per pay period • Rotating weekends & holidays

Valley View is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to support programs that enrich the social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and recreational lives of our residents in our Memory Care area. In this meaningful role, you will help plan and lead engaging activities while encouraging participation and enhancing overall well-being.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating resident activity programs

• Encourage resident participation in recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual activities

• Observe and document resident attendance, mood, behavior, and level of engagement

• Report and chart observations to support resident care planning and progress evaluation

• Participate in community planning related to resident interests, services, and family needs

• Interview residents and family members to gather activity preferences and background information

• Support a welcoming, respectful, and engaging environment for all residents

• Perform additional related duties as assigned
