VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Student Resource Team (SRT) Leader position for the 2025-2026 school year.
Location: Bernard J. Ward Elementary .6/ Robert C. Hill Elementary .4
JOB SUMMARY: The SRT Leader is responsible for: working with administration and staff to improve instructional outcomes for learners; coordination of building-based special education programs and services; coordination of problem solving activities performed by Student Resource Teams; coordination and facilitation of IEP Meetings that comply with both IDEA and ISBE Special Education Rules and Regulations and Procedural Safeguards; and maintenance of accurate and up-to-date IEP database and required student records. Additional duties may from time to time be assigned in accordance with provisions of the Board's policies and requirements.
