Clinical Responsibilities
As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with providers and clinical staff.
- Obtain focused patient histories and perform appropriate physical assessments across the lifespan.
- Evaluate patient symptoms, risk factors, and clinical findings to develop appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing based on the patient’s clinical presentation.
- Use sound clinical judgment and critical thinking to develop, implement, and modify plans of care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up needs.
- Perform clinical procedures appropriate to training, licensure, and scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Advocate for patients and provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care.
- Use current evidence and best practices to support clinical decision-making and quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the continued improvement of clinical practices.
- Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuing education and ongoing professional development.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
- Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment where patient needs and priorities may change throughout the day.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, collaborative, and team-oriented workplace.
- Participate in the education and support of students and other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
