Job Purpose:
- The Parts Counter position at Valley Ford Trucks - Master is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. This role requires a thorough understanding of automotive parts and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts and accessories.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and guidance on parts selection and compatibility.
- Process customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked inventory of parts and accessories.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure parts availability for vehicle repairs.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to parts orders.
- Operate the parts counter and point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Stay updated on new products, industry trends, and technical advancements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all transactions.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive parts or a related field.
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with inventory management and parts ordering systems preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for inventory management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy work setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a parts department setting.
Salary : $30,000 - $35,000
