About the position
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Office Manager based in Long Beach, NY. Looking for a "people person" to provide administrative support for construction projects. We are a family owned commercial contractor and have been in the green industry for over 30 years. We have close, long term relationships with our vendors and clients and require a professional team player. Additionally, the role includes organizing internal processes, supporting team members with clerical duties, maintaining records and schedules, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and staff.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- 5 Years experience in office administration role
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
- Strong math skills for preparation of contract bids
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Customer service skills
- Respond to emails and messages with with appropriate follow ups
- Schedule crews
- Knowledge of the landscaping or tree care industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is preferred
