What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Parts Painter position at Valley Tool & Mfg., Inc.?
Summary: Read and understand blue print and work order specifications required for each part number and apply paint (spray) accordingly
***Must have aerospace (or comparable industry) part painting experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
· Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory.
· Prepare parts for paint according to written and verbal instructions
· Apply paint according to written instructions ensuring the correct paint is being used.
· Keep a neat and clean work area, and ensure all necessary equipment is properly cleaned and in working order..
· Ensure all paperwork is properly completed.
· Other duties as assigned when required.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 3-5 years’ experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with manufactured aerospace components preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate clearly with supervisor and coworkers.
