About the Full Time Position
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help keep our assisted living community clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a difference in the daily lives of older adults.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and disinfect surfaces according to community procedures.
- Collect and remove trash and recycling.
- Assist with laundry and linen services as assigned.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and keep storage areas organized.
- Follow cleaning, infection-prevention, and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
- Respect residents’ privacy, belongings, and personal preferences.
- Interact with residents, families, and coworkers in a friendly, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- A respectful, patient, and caring approach to working around older adults.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position, including standing, bending, reaching, and moving cleaning equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
