SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist specializing in Accounts Payable (AP) and Payroll oversite, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to support financial operations The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy in financial data entry, account reconciliation, month-end reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Manage AP and Payroll processes.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting and month-end close.
- Monitor, process and verify accounts payable transactions using QuickBooks Online.
- Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with teams and partners.
- Apply and deposit customer payments.
- Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Minimum of 2 years of daily QuickBooks Online use.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and insurable record.
Must pass pre-employment screen, physical and background checks.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of Accounting principles.
- Experience with Accounts Payable functions.
- Analysis skills for account reconciliation, general ledger coding, and account analysis.
- Strong attention to detail with high-level data entry skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
