The Director of Business Development & Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding partnerships, and leading the organization’s overall marketing strategy. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening community relationships, increasing brand awareness, and developing marketing initiatives that support the organization’s programs, events, and services.
The Director will work closely with leadership, operations, and program staff to ensure alignment between business development, marketing efforts, and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities including sponsorships, partnerships,
- corporate relationships, and strategic collaborations.
- Develop and manage relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community
- partners.
- Lead sponsorship development including prospecting, proposal creation, and relationship management.
- Create and implement strategies to grow organizational programs, events, and services.
- Assist in developing pricing models, packages, and promotional offerings.
- Track and report key business development metrics and revenue targets.
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Lead the organization’s overall marketing strategy and brand positioning.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote programs, events, leagues, and services.
- Manage digital marketing including website, social media, email marketing, and online promotions.
- Oversee graphic design, promotional materials, and brand consistency.
- Coordinate marketing efforts for major events, tournaments, leagues, and community initiatives.
- Analyze marketing performance and optimize strategies for engagement and growth.
Sponsorship & Community Engagement
- Build and manage sponsorship packages and corporate partnerships.
- Develop creative activation opportunities for sponsors.
- Work with community organizations to strengthen partnerships and visibility.
- Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term growth initiatives.
- Identify trends, market opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Assist in developing strategic initiatives to increase participation, engagement, and
- revenue.
- Support fundraising initiatives, grants, and nonprofit development efforts if applicable.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns and brand strategy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with digital marketing platforms and CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
