This position is a fixed-term, 90-day contract assignment. The assignment is expected to last approximately 90 days.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Packaging of finished products for shipment and/or storage. May include material handling in the stockroom, bulk, finished goods, receiving and warehouse.
Activities
- Moves goods and materials in fast-paced environments within the company. Work locations may be Stockroom, Kitting, Receiving, Packaging and/or Shipping.
- Performs necessary tasks up to and possibly including:
- stock transactions on ERP system;
- finished goods packaging and shipping;
- cycle counts;
- receiving;
- kitting;
- opening boxes;
- stockroom "put-away" parts;
- issuing of parts to work orders on the computer;
- deliver and pick up product up to 75 pounds;
- other related functions and special projects.
- Loads and unloads materials up to 75 pounds in and out of company vehicles.
- Drives company vehicles to and from specified delivery and pickup locations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in cycle counting, stockroom, receiving, packaging and shipping, production control or material control is very helpful
- High energy level and self motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent driving record.
- Forklift certified preferred
