Valley Mills Vineyards is a family-run winery just west of Waco, TX producing 100% Texas-grown wine. The tasting room at our Estate Winery is open daily from 12-6 PM.
Job Title: Tasting Room Host
Role: Part-time.. A great weekend job for those with a passion for wine.
Reports to: Tasting Room Manager
Compensation for part-time staff: starting at $15/hr plus tips and commissions.
Qualifications: Wine industry, restaurant industry, or other service/retail experience preferred.
Required Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for hospitality. An eye for the details that contribute to a guest’s experience. Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Serving guests in the tasting room of our Estate Winery.
- Selling wine by the tasting, glass, and bottle.
- Giving tours of our grounds and facility.
- Encouraging guests to become Wine Club Members.
