Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and present daily specials with enthusiasm to enhance the dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to maximize sales opportunities and guest satisfaction
• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting with food handling and preparation as needed
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld through proper sanitation, food handling procedures, and adherence to health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining excellent guest relations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with sanitation standards
• Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues professionally, and creating a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing are essential
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments
