- Perform quantitative research and cash flow analysis to evaluate creditworthiness, underwriting processes, and overall financial stability.
- Prepare detailed risk reports that communicate findings clearly to senior management, including recommendations for risk mitigation strategies aligned with financial concepts and principles.
- Negotiate with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish risk management policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in banking, financial services, and risk management best practices to continuously enhance our risk frameworks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in risk analysis, financial analysis, or related roles within banking or financial services sectors.
- Strong proficiency in data mining, data modeling, and statistical analysis tools; familiarity with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of fraud prevention techniques, credit analysis, underwriting procedures, and financial concepts.
- Excellent quantitative research skills combined with a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets using advanced financial software and perform detailed cash flow analyses.
- Knowledge of financial report writing standards and the ability to communicate technical findings effectively to non-specialist audiences.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills coupled with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; advanced certifications or training in risk management are a plus.
