AS A CAREGIVER you provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes.
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Providing medication and appointment reminders
- Performing light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes
- Accompanying clients to appointments and running errands
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, incontinence issues and other duties as assigned
- Reporting any significant changes in a client's needs or living conditions
- Regular communication with our supervisor and office staff
- On line charting at your finger tips
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to treat clients with compassion, respect and dignity
- Be dependable, responsible and trustworthy
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current car insurance
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a high school graduate or have a GED
- Must speak and write fluent English
- Must pass a thorough back ground check and drug screening
- Must have current TB clearance prior to start of employment
- Current HCA registration is preferred, but we can assist with the right candidate
