Fitness Membership Sales Associate

We’re seeking someone with a sales-minded approach, excellent customer service skills, and a positive, energetic attitude for our next fitness sales associate. You should be passionate about health and fitness and thrive in an environment that pushes you to exceed personal and team goals. Our ideal candidate brings at least a year of sales experience along with a good understanding of how to prospect leads through telemarketing, cold calling, walk-ins, and member referrals. Compensation:

$16.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to resolve the problems of members in an impartial and professional way
• Greet members and guests at the studio, answer phones, and assist the front desk with various tasks
• Retain long-term clients and expand the studio's member base through sales, onboarding new members, and providing great customer service
• Manage and organize marketing efforts both within and outside of the studio
• Generate leads by various methods including doing outreach to prospective members by phone, text, email, and talking with prospects at local events and studio walk-ins

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized club environment by completing cleaning tasks and hourly club walks
• Engage potential members through various outreach methods, including phone calls, text messages, emails, and in-person conversations during club tours

Qualifications:

• Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
• Outstanding organizational skills and time management
• At least 1 year of sales experience or work in a similar role is preferred
• High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
• Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required

• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Previous experience in customer service, fitness, or a related field preferred
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with outreach efforts such as phone calls, emails, texting, and in-person conversations
• Basic computer and administrative skills (POS systems, email, scheduling software, etc.)
• Willingness to maintain a clean and organized club environment
