Job Summary
The Valley Crossroads Chamber of Commerce is seeking an organized, reliable, and community-minded Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) to support the daily operations of the Chamber and serve as a key point of contact for members and visitors.
This position plays an important role in supporting the local business community by helping manage communications, maintain member records, assist with billing and CRM systems, and support general office operations. The Administrative Assistant will regularly interact with local business owners, community leaders, and Chamber members.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, and CRM systems, and is passionate about supporting the business communities of Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, and the surrounding Cedar Valley region.
This position is part-time (15–25 hours per week) and has the potential to grow into a full-time Office Manager role as the Chamber continues to grow.
Hours & Compensation
This is a part-time position working approximately 15–25 hours per week. Work will generally occur during normal business hours and will take place in the Chamber office located in Eagle Mountain, serving the Eagle Mountain and Saratoga Springs business communities.
Some flexibility in scheduling may be available depending on Chamber needs. Occasional attendance at Chamber events may be requested.
Compensation for this position is $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
As the Valley Crossroads Chamber of Commerce continues to grow, this role has the potential to expand into a full-time Office Manager position for the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities
Member & Community Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Chamber members and visitors
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general member inquiries
- Respond to member questions and assist with member needs
- Maintain a welcoming and professional Chamber office environment
Administrative Support
- Assist the President/CEO with scheduling meetings and administrative tasks
- Prepare materials for meetings and Chamber communications
- Manage general office communications and correspondence
Membership & CRM Management
- Maintain and update member information within the Chamber CRM
- Assist with membership billing and invoicing
- Respond to member questions related to membership and billing
- Maintain the Chamber membership directory and records
Communications & Technology
- Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) for daily operations
- Support Zoom meetings and virtual meeting technology
- Assist with posting updates and announcements on Chamber social media channels
- Support member communications and announcements
Event Support
- Assist with setup, check-in, and teardown for Chamber events
- Help maintain event registration lists and attendee information
- Support ribbon cuttings, networking events, and workshops
Requirements / Qualifications
- Passionate about Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, and the surrounding Cedar Valley communities and excited to help support and promote the local business community
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable answering phones and responding to emails
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Comfortable using Zoom and virtual meeting technology
- Ability to learn and work within a CRM system
- Professional demeanor when interacting with business owners and community leaders
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to assist with event setup when needed
