The award-winning Urology Clinic at Valley Children’s Hospital provides expert diagnosis and management of complex genital and urological conditions and disorders in infants, children and young adults. The team sees approximately 9,800 outpatient visits a year at various locations in Central California. Our practice includes board-certified pediatric urologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, social workers, interpreters and child life specialists to help ensure the best, comprehensive care for each child.
Urologic procedures are performed on an inpatient, outpatient and emergency basis. We offer the latest treatments and a family-centered approach to minimize stress for our patients. Our surgeons use minimally invasive surgical techniques (i.e., laparoscopy/endoscopy) with small incisions and minimal blood loss whenever possible.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care. Responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.

Qualifications
Education
- Program Accredited nursing program (required)
- Bachelors Degree Nursing (preferred)
- RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing (required)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
- Experience to correlate with Clinical Advancement Program (required)
- Bilingual Skills Preferred.
