The People Solutions Consultant II will serve as a key contributor in supporting the transformation of Human Resources' service delivery to employees and HCM Strategic roadmap. This role will also act as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending intermediate to advanced solutions to Valley's employee human resource issues relating to various programs, including but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management, etc.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- 40% - Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending intermediate to advanced solutions to employee human resources issues relating to various HR programs and policies, including but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management, etc.
- 20% - Performs intermediate and interpretive analysis - research related to payroll, benefits, and employment processing. Responsible for timely and accurate processing, audits, and related processes for our internal clients, external benefit carriers, and state/federal compliance requirements.
- 20% - Identifies areas requiring specialized, advanced information, or policy interpretation and escalate to People Solutions Manager while maintaining a high-level of awareness of client/employee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and executes to meet requirements.
- 20% - Takes on special projects as assigned in support of the People Resources strategy. Assists with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of process workflow across human resource programs, including all functional areas (but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management, etc.).
- Experience working with automated multi-state, employment processing (payroll, benefits, on-boarding).
- Strong verbal and written client services skills.
- Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Strong PC skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office application specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment with ability to collaborate and effectively work across functional teams.
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years related Human Resources (employment, benefits and/or payroll) experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources (or equivalent in education and experience).
