Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Sales & Growth Initiatives
- Lead client and prospect meetings to promote advisory services and investment solutions.
- Develop and execute business development strategies in collaboration with internal partners (commercial, business, and retail bankers).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior bank managers to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive referral growth.
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning services using tools such as eMoney or similar platforms.
- Build and present financial plans that align with client goals and support business development efforts.
- Supervise a junior financial planner, providing mentorship and oversight of plan development and client engagement.
- Serve as lead Portfolio Manager for proprietary ETF and mutual fund strategies.
- Oversee trading, rebalancing, and account management for advisory portfolios.
- Collaborate with Investment Committee to refine and implement strategic asset allocation models.
- Manage a team responsible for new advisory account onboarding, operational workflows, and compliance coordination.
- Oversee data analytics and business reporting functions to inform strategic decisions and performance tracking.
- Ensure operational efficiency and scalability of advisory services.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in business development and relationship management within a bank or RIA setting.
- Deep understanding of investment strategies, portfolio construction, and financial planning software (e.g., eMoney).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for RIAs and bank-affiliated advisory firms preferred.
- Ability to translate financial planning into actionable investment and advisory solutions preferred.
- Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and collaborative approach preferred.
- High School diploma and a minimum 10 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory roles.
- Bachelor's degree, Advanced degree (MBA, CFP, CFA, etc.) preferred.
