Madera Toyota Chevrolet is seeking a detail-oriented and organized DMV Accounting Clerk to support our dealership operations. This role is responsible for processing DMV-related documentation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with basic accounting functions. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Process and submit DMV paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify vehicle documentation for completeness and compliance
- Maintain organized records of titles, registrations, and related documents
- Post deals and assist with basic accounting entries
- Reconcile DMV transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with DMV offices and internal departments as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred (not required)
- Previous DMV, title clerk, or dealership experience preferred but not required
- Basic accounting knowledge and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
