Position Overview
We are seeking a confident, organized, and patient-focused Treatment Coordinatorto join our team. This role is essential in helping patients understand their treatment needs, navigate insurance, and feel comfortable moving forward with care.
Responsibilities
- Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, confident manner
- Verify insurance and review benefits with patients
- Discuss financial options and coordinate payment arrangements
- Schedule treatment efficiently based on priority and patient availability
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment to improve case acceptance
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong patient relationships
Requirements
- Dental office experience required
- Previous treatment coordinating experience preferred
- Knowledge of PPO insurance and breakdowns
- Strong communication and sales skills (case presentation/closing)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental software (Open Dental) preferred
