Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in patient appointment scheduling, front desk operations, insurance verification, ensuring coordinated timing of patient visits and procedures across 3 HCP schedules. Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare service delivery and proven experience. This position requires incredible communication skills, proficiency in EHR systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology, procedural coding and HIPAA.
High School diploma and references should be provided with application. Smoking, vaping, or drugs is not permitted; screening and background check may be requested.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments.
- Utilize EHR system scheduling.
- Verify insurance and benefits information. Cost estimates and PA requirements.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including care plans and medical records.
- Provide excellent patient service and professional decorum with team members.
- Back up for our Medical Assistant staff.
Skills
- Experience scheduling with an Allergy or Asthma Clinic
- Currently Certified Medical Assistant are encouraged to apply
- Ability to work full-time hours according to assigned schedule
- Ability to comprehend multiple instructions and execute cohesively
- Ability to identify needs of others in a dynamic environment with empathy
- Must be self-motivated and treat others with respect

Pay: $19.00 - $27.50 per hour
