Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in the day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in data analysis, compliance, and relationship management to support the seamless operation of activities involving all departments.
They will have ownership responsibility for a set of activities that involve gathering, organizing, and analyzing information to ensure accurate financial reporting and facilitate optimal decision-making. They will provide expertise in financial operations and financial reporting functions for multiple legal entities. He or she will prepare financial reports, analyses, and general ledger account analysis/reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the design, development, and improvement of financial systems and controls, and the development and documentation of financial processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- General ledger reconciliations
- Ensure proper allocation of operating costs
- Review of financial statements. Analyze, interpret, and communicate/correct variances.
- Provide financial reporting, schedules, and analyses in various capacities such as audits, budgets, project financials, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, etc.
- Drive business results by proactively identifying opportunities for business process and finance improvements
- Assist with financial planning and modeling (budgets, forecast, profit and cost analysis, deviation analysis, reporting, and supporting commercial topics)
- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions as needed
- Support senior staff with special projects
- Ad-hoc support
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university; advanced education such as MBA or MSA preferred
- 3 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or related field; experience in warehouse/manufacturing preferred
- General understanding of best business practices, GAAP accounting principles, and Full Cycle Accounting
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, etc.); advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience; Oracle/NetSuite preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability, technical competence, and collaborative mindset
