As a High Speed Guard Engineer , you will together as a team to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains.
This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA.

As a High Speed Guard Engineer , you will together as a team to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains.
This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field and eight (8) plus years of applicable experience
- Experience with EverFox High Speed Guards.DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified
- Experience working with Cross Domain Solutions and operationally supporting CDSs
- Experience developing systems, products, and/or processes based on a total systems perspective
- Experience with Linux operating systems; understanding of general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts
- Collects requirements from stakeholders and determines best implementation solution
- Schedules/attends Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to discuss/whiteboard design and implementation details
- Coordinates implementation approach and timeline with technical and project management staff
- Responds and resolves service outages, technical queries, and other system related issues
- Installs firmware updates on physical hardware components (i.e. DellEMC, SANs, switches, etc.)
- Monitors and troubleshoots the performance of Everfox/Forcepoint products
- Engineers, designs, and implements HSG rulesets
