What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detox Case Manager position at Valiant Living?
As a Case Manager at Valiant Living you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary treatment team that provides treatment for substance use disorder, process disorder and mental health treatment. The Case Manager will be responsible for meeting on a dailly basis with each assigned client to help them move forward with any needed practical tasks for their recovery.
Essential Functions:
- Provide regular case management to assigned clients.
- Provide appropriate documentation and record keeping in compliance with state, federal and accreditation regulations.
- Be available during regular business hours for questions and concerns from clients.
- Communicate with the clinical team and be available to make recommendations and
provide information on client progress.
- Assist clients in completing their assignments and moving through their milestones.
Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Participation in weekly treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at Valiant Living
Adheres to strict boundaries and professional ethics in the care of others. Conducts crisis intervention as needed. Core Competencies:

- High school diploma required
Current CAT/CAS or working towards certification Experience with chemical dependency treatment facilities and/or detox, addictions, and mental health populations preferred
Prohibitions: Active addiction, use of illicit substances during employment, current sponsorship of a current or former (less than 1-year post RH treatment) client Supervisory Structure: Reports to Director of Detox and Assessment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
