Electronics Maintenance Technician II

Job Description Summary Valiant Integrated Services is looking for an experienced Electronics Technician Maintenance (ETM) II to join our professional team at Punxsutawney, PA providing support to the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) Maintenance Program (ATMP).

The Punxsutawney ETM II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and associated equipment.
Job Description

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), troubleshoot and isolate faults
• Use spare/repair parts to repair faults IAW technical guidelines
• Research and select repair parts needed
• Enter work order data in the on-line management information system (MIS)
• Apply basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
• Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
• Some travel may be required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 2 -5 years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting.
• 2 year Associate's Degree in electronics or related technical field preferred.
• Prefer TADSS experience.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with basic computer systems including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications and be able to work with a computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, be detail oriented, and be adaptable in a high paced environment.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height (towers and phone poles).
