Reporting to the General Manager, the Production technicians are responsible for assembling and testing of electromechanical systems and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. The Production Technician 1 will exhibit technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to meeting production targets while upholding quality standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to perform mechanical & electrical assembly tasks including aligning, fastening, wiring, soldering, and connecting electrical components following industry standards and safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of product assembly, including travelers, check sheets, and inspection reports as required
- Operate basic production equipment and tooling according to standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on raw materials and sub-assemblies to identify defects or deviations from quality standards
- Provide feedback regarding improvements in existing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety
- High school education or GED required. Associates degree or certificate preferred in electrical technician or engineering.
- 1 year of experience working in manufacturing environment
