About Us:
Valiant Living is a recovery and treatment center providing comprehensive, individualized care for those experiencing chemical dependency. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN to join our detox and assessment team and help support clients on their path to recovery.
Position Summary:
The LPN is responsible for supporting the day-to-day medical and wellness needs of clients in a detox setting. This role includes intake assessments, medication administration, health monitoring, and collaboration with the clinical and medical teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with intake nursing assessments
- Administer and manage medications
- Monitor vitals and client health status
- Document assessments, medical information, and updates in EMR
- Coordinate lab work and communicate results to care teams
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, providers, and clinical staff
- Assist with infectious disease prevention and health screenings
- Provide first aid and respond to emergent health concerns
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license (required)
- CPR and First Aid certification (required)
- Experience in detox, behavioral health, or related settings preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: This position is specifically for day shift on Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's
