Summary - The sales coordinator will assist management and all sales representatives in the day-to-day operations required for New, Used and Brokerage boat sales. The position includes but is not limited to all required administrative functions performed to support day-to-day sales operations. This position requires exceptional customer service, excellent time management, and strong writing and grammatical skills. The primary focus for the sales coordinator is to take the customer from the closing table to their delivery day and to ensure that all expectations have been met or exceeded.
§ Reports To: Director and General Manager of VYSN
§ Works very closely with VYSN Closing agent
§ Serves as Liaison between sales dept, parts dept and the service dept
Responsibilities
- § Provide excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with customers as needed to update status and ensure complete satisfaction.
§ Acts as a liaison between the sales department and the parts / service department.
§ Facilitate and coordinate all sub-contractor relationships and generate and process POs as required in preparation of vessel for delivery.
§ Establish a customer follow up system for a post-delivery checkup.
§ Prepare Listings and Proposals for sales associates and management
§ Maintain Inventory in Boat Wizard, Yacht Closer and our website
§ Responsible for all Boat Show POP materials displaying our inventory.
§ Other duties as assigned and requested by Director and General Manager of VYSN
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales coordination or a related field, marine experience not required.
- Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
