Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits with precision and flair
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Assist in beverage recipe development to enhance our menu offerings and customer satisfaction
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies, and monitor product freshness to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy hours or special events such as banquets or catering functions
- Uphold all food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service policies at all times
- Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and foster a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Proven expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices
- Experience working in hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, nightclubs, or catering events
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing purposes
- Familiarity with brewing processes or craft beer offerings is a plus for enhancing guest experience
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
- Hospitality industry experience that demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced environments
