We are seeking an experienced and proactive Community Manager to lead one of our Brand New LIHTC apartment communities in Manhattan, Kansas.
Position Overview:
As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the property, including compliance with LIHTC regulations, resident satisfaction, and staff supervision. This is a vital leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in community-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations including leasing, rent collection, inspections, and maintenance coordination for a lease up.
- Ensure full compliance with LIHTC program rules and Fair Housing regulations.
- Oversee move-ins, recertifications, and file audits to maintain program eligibility and property compliance.
- Supervise and lead on-site team members, including maintenance.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reporting, and occupancy goals.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and corporate support staff.
- Maintain positive resident relations and a high standard of customer service.
- Enforce lease policies and handle resident concerns professionally and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; industry certifications (COS, TCS, C3P) preferred.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
