Valhalla Management is seeking a dependable and motivated Apartment Community Support Technician to join our team in Springfield, Missouri. This is a hands-on role that supports the overall appearance, operations, and resident experience of the community.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in their work, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- One-hour lunch break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Starting pay: $15.00-17.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of the property, including:
- Picking up trash and debris from grounds
- Mowing lawns and pulling weeds
- General grounds upkeep and appearance
- Prepare apartments for new residents:
- Painting apartments
- Cleaning vacant units (make-readies)
- Ensuring units meet Valhalla standards
- Assist the Property Manager with administrative tasks such as:
- Filing, organizing paperwork, and general office support
- Support maintenance team with light tasks, including:
- Changing air filters
- Hanging blinds
- Power washing
- Other basic, non-technical maintenance duties
- Respond to team needs with a positive, team-first attitude
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks, both indoors and outdoors
- Basic knowledge of tools and maintenance tasks is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and remain active throughout the workday
