R&D Product Engineer - Senior Level

Valgroup is hiring a senior-level R&D Product Engineer to support our Findlay, Ohio facility.

Location: On-Site Findlay, Ohio

Department: R & D

Reports To: R&D Supervisor

Shift/Schedule: Daytime M-F

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Optimize productivity by design, implementation, and testing of new products
• Tracking metrics and reporting
• Managing production trial projects
• Raw material qualifications
• Develop programs and methods for product engineering
• Technical point of contact for customers and commercial representatives
• Manage projects with cross-functional teams
• Identifies potential markets within the flexible packaging film and specialty film
  
  
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
• 4 years experience R&D Engineering in plastic films manufacturing is required
• Strong communication and analytical skills as well as problem-solving and critical thinking
