What you will do:
- Prioritize and lead safety and quality initiatives
- Supervise production to meet operational goals
- Collaborate across departments to meet customer and business needs
- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance
- Develop and mentor team members
- Establish standard procedures in production and training
Skills needed for success:
- Experienced leader and collaborator
- Great communication and people skills
- Critical thinking problem-solver
- Mechanical troubleshooting capabilities
- Implementation and change management experience
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft applications
- Flexibility to off-hours questions
- Experience with extrusion production is a plus
- Preferred candidate will possess 3 years' experience directly leading others within a manufacturing environment, with a 2-year degree or equivalent.
