Who We’re Looking For:
We seek creative, motivated Senior Project Architect / Designer to join our collaborative team in our New York office. If you’re passionate about innovative design and eager to see your ideas come to life, we want to meet you.
Requirements
- 8-13 years minimum full-time experience in the field of Architecture
- Bachelor of Architecture degree or higher in Architecture accredited program. Masters of Architecture degree is preferred.
- Licensed or in progress is preferred
- Ability to supervise team members, review and red-mark technical drawings, interact with consultants and coordinate with public agencies.
- Knowledge of building codes and technical standards required.
- Prefer candidates with a proven track record managing high profile projects ideally in the retail, restaurant and hospitality sectors.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems, common business programs and CAD applications required.
- Availability for in-office support (Monday - Friday full time) with occasional travels to job sites.
Responsibilities
- Working knowledge of Construction Documents preparation.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, landlords, and general contractor. Ability to self-lead and oversee deliverables. Review for accuracy. Effectively communicate design.
- Active communication both in-office as well as working with teams from other offices.
- Attention to details.
- Offer support to supervising Project Managers, Project Architects and office team. Oversee and mentor junior staff supporting. Collaboration with outside teams including client, property owners, engineers, and consultants.
- Strong presentation skills through multiple media options (digital and hand sketching). Ability to keep up with evolving technology.

Salary Information:
In compliance with California (California Equal Pay Act, California Labor Code § 432.3) and New York (New York Labor Law § 194-a) salary transparency laws, the following salary expectation breakdown is provided for this position:
Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 annually
This salary range represents the base annual compensation for this role. The final offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to:
- Relevant experience
- Skillset and qualifications
- Education level
- Market conditions
Additional components of compensation, such as bonuses if applicable, may be offered as part of the total compensation package.
Additional Openings Available

Current areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
- Studio Associate: Typically 1–3 years of experience
- Intermediate Project Architect / Job Captain: Typically 5 years of experience
