We are seeking a skilled and dedicated skilled Satellite Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of satellite systems. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking and electrical systems, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Satellite Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and support.

Responsibilities

Install and configure satellite systems for residential and commercial clients.
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of satellite equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to satellite connectivity and service interruptions.
Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to perform installations and repairs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their satellite systems.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions.

Experience

Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role related to telecommunications or networking.
Strong knowledge of Ethernet technology and computer networking principles.
Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of hand tools for installation purposes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in network installation is highly desirable.
