Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in office management, strong communication skills, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Checkout client appointments and maintain proper cash tip records.
  • Handle cash drawer.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Ensure reception area is welcoming and clean
  • Act as a valued resource for our patients by providing accurate information in- person and via phone/email
  • Professional and positive attitude and appearance.
  • Successful problem-solving skills
  • Think independently and possess good judgement
  • Ability to keep salon running smoothly.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
  • Handle Inventory.
  • Have experience with social media platforms.
  • Responsible for daily opening and closing operations.
  • Proactively support hiring initiatives to maintain optimal staffing levels
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance overall efficiency within the salon.
  • Must be willing and able to follow all employee rules established by owner/operator
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Team player with zero drama

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
  • Management experience
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with strong phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
