Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, and related repairs.
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical resources.
- Accurately document diagnostic findings and completed repairs.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Perform quality-control inspections.
- Maintain required technical training and certifications.
- Work collaboratively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians.
- Follow dealership safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous professional automotive repair experience required.
- Luxury or European automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical concerns.
- Manufacturer or ASE certifications preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must possess the tools necessary to perform assigned duties.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail.
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus – Eligibility Requirements
Jaguar Hartford is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus exclusively to qualified Advanced and Master Technicians.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Hold a current, verifiable Advanced Technician or Master Technician certification from a recognized automotive manufacturer.
- Provide documentation verifying certification status and completed manufacturer training.
- Have a minimum of three years of professional automotive technician experience.
- Demonstrate advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities.
- Have their certifications and qualifications verified and approved by dealership management before employment begins.
Bonus Payment Schedule
- $1,000 after 30 days of continuous employment.
- $1,500 after 90 days of continuous employment.
- $2,500 after 180 days of continuous employment.
Total Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Bonus installments are earned upon completion of the applicable continuous-employment milestone, provided the employee remains employed on that date. All bonus payments are subject to applicable payroll taxes and withholding. Additional eligibility conditions apply.
