Position: Experienced Automotive Service Technician (Audi Experience Preferred)

Location: Valenti Audi – Hartford, CT

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, braking, HVAC, and electronic systems on Audi vehicles according to factory specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and multi-point vehicle health checks efficiently and accurately.
• Utilize Audi diagnostic software (ODIS) and Audi-specific factory tools for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance, drivability, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and estimated completion times clearly with service advisors.
• Accurately document all work performed on repair orders while maintaining high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) standards.
• Tag and retain warranty parts as required while following all dealership, Audi, and safety procedures.
• Participate in ongoing Audi factory training to stay current on new models, EV technology, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs).

Qualifications

• 3 years of automotive technician experience; Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, or other European luxury brand experience strongly preferred.
• Audi certification (or willingness to obtain certification through Audi Academy) is highly desirable. We proudly support and sponsor factory training for qualified candidates.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with modern vehicle technology, including hybrid, electric (e-tron), infotainment, and ADAS systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Professional hand tools required (specialty tools and equipment provided by the dealership).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
