Valcourt is seeking a high-energy Sales Customer Service Representative to join our growing sales team. This role serves as the critical first point of contact with prospective commercial clients, including building owners and commercial property managers. Focused on outbound prospecting and lead qualification, the representative will generate qualified sales appointments using Salesforce, Zoom, and additional sales engagement tools. This position reports to the Sales Manager and offers a clear career path to Outside Sales without requiring any travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate qualified appointments for outside sales representatives
- Manage leads and document outreach activities using Salesforce CRM
- Engage potential clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings (Zoom)
- Coordinate timely follow-up and handoff of qualified leads to field sales team
- Execute outreach campaigns using email marketing and sales engagement platforms
- Qualify prospective customers to drive revenue growth
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams
- Meet or exceed goals related to appointments set and new account activations
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Zoom preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple campaigns
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work full-time on-site as required
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or business development
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Familiarity with lead qualification and outbound sales strategies
- Experience with customer relationship management and sales engagement tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
