What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supplier Development Engineer 1 position at Valbruna Group?
Work under supervision as part of the logistics team. Will prepare coordination of outside processing activities (as established and assigned). Will gather quotes, prepare paperwork for senior approval. Will assist in the liaison between processor and VSSI. Evaluate improvement projects and make recommendations for senior review. Will interact with production personnel and machines to identify and make production remedy suggestions. Will create SOI's review and order routine maintenance, audit production, and make suggestions for best practices. Will document and maintain management system including procedures, corrective actions, process changes and continuous improvement exercises. Will report to Logistics Manager. No supervisory duties. Will report to Quality Manager. No supervisory duties. Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited program, the making, shaping and treating of Steel: 101 certification, and AS9100D auditor certification. Work Hrs.
