Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best towing approach for each vehicle.
• Load and unload vehicles carefully using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, resolving issues with tact and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and service reports for record-keeping purposes.
• Perform routine inspections of tow truck equipment and perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles with a valid driver’s license for heavy-duty or commercial driving.
• Mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and working with manual transmissions.
• Familiarity with automotive repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety protocols related to vehicle recovery.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally in high-pressure situations.
• Mechanical experience or mechanic background is highly desirable to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
