Summary
Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist reps in promoting sales.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
- Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
- Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
- Mentoring: Participates in Company-sponsored training and provides mentoring.
- Directly supervises a various number of manufacturing representatives.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviewing and training co-workers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining co-workers; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or
- Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have valid and current driver’s license
- Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time by air and auto
Wages
$113,000 - $115,000 annually plus incentive
