Seasonal Recruiting Assistant - Vail and Beaver Creek - Part Time, Seasonal
The Vail Resorts Talent Acquisition team is dedicated to serving our operations and our guests by working to attract and retain guest focused individuals who share our passion for our amazing mountain environment and an unparalleled guest experience. Working approximately 10-20 hours per week in both Vail and Beaver Creek, this individual will coordinate and support recruiting efforts in Eagle County from August 15th until approximately December 31st, 2014 or later depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Beaver Creek and Vail Talent Acquisition (TA) team including data entry, application review, applicant correspondence, candidate processing
- Responsible for the candidate experience at the resorts by providing candidate support via phone and walkins as needed
- Partner with local and corporate Talent Acquisition team and local operational managers to ensure effective and timely processing of seasonal and year round requisitions
- Act as point of communication for Human Resources staff regarding position status, Talent Acquisition programs, candidate support, etc
- Partner with TA Manager, specialists, and hiring managers to ensure compliant hiring practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Human Resources or equivalent experience - required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including, but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint - required
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) - preferred
- Must be able to communicate in English, bilingual in Spanish - preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills
- Proven ability to build internal and external customer/candidate relationships
- Ski area/resort professional experience - preferred
- Experience working/living in the Vail/ Beaver Creek area - preferred
