Online Reservations Agents support our Reservation Agents by processing online reservations and supporting the technical side of Reservations. This is a great position for someone with computer skills who is looking to learn more about our business across all of Vail Resorts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process online reservations into host systems
- Collaborate with other Reservation Product Management staff on how to implement marketing efforts into the online booking experience
- Load data, including but not limited to packages, promotions, properties, activities, cars, lifts into reservation systems that are linked to online booking engines
- Build new packages and new properties for Vail Resorts web sites.
- Support reservation agents with guest problems.
- Ability to demonstrate accurate data entry skills and the desire to work a flexible schedule.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma – required
- College diploma – preferred
- Current Vail Resorts Reservations experience - preferred
- Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, MS Office, internet usage – required
- Extensive Excel knowledge – required
- HTML code knowledge - preferred
- Travel industry knowledge, computer data entry, and telephone customer service experience - preferred
- Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written - required
