Entry: Bell Person: Full Time and Part Time / Winter / Seasonal - Kirkwood Hospitality - Kirkwood, CA
Job Summary:
The Kirkwood Property Management Team is looking for outgoing, enthusiastic individuals to offer support to our Front Desk and Housekeeping Teams. The Bell Person will create a warm and welcoming environment to guests and owners at the resort.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greets guests, opens car doors, opens entry lobby doors for guests
- Maintains cleanliness of lodge lobby and common areas of all lodging properties (Includes vaccumming, dusting, bathrooms and shoveling snow)
- Directs traffic, has an extensive knowledge of the resort and all surrounding areas, gives directions
- Completes basic maintenance requests in the units such as changing lightbulbs, batteries, reseting pilot lights, reseting wireless routers and unclogging toilets
- Troubleshoots cable tv issues and delivers firewood to guests
- Assists with the cleaning of units, departure checks and inspection of units when needed
- Assist front desk with check ins as needed
Requirements:
- Clean driving record is a necessity in order to qualify for Authorized Driver's Program
- A warm and welcoming personality
- High level of comfort working with guests; able to display an outgoing and helpful tone.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours
- Flexible schedule, to include: early mornings, late evenings (until 2am), occasional split shifts
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, reach, carry, push, pull and shovel on a daily basis
- Ability to carry 50 lbs
- Ability to adapt quickly to change
- Ability to multi-task and priorize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate well in person, over the phone and over the radio
- Some computer experience preferred
- Some customer service experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and communicate clearly in English
