The Lead Child Care Attendant is responsible for the effective daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 months to four years. This role serves as the primary point of contact for families, overseeing the check-in and reservation process, managing the front desk, and supporting administrative functions. In addition to providing direct care, this role leads and supports the childcare team, maintains regulatory compliance, and ensures a high standard of service and safety throughout the facility.

- Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $24.69/hr
- Employment Type: Summer Seasonal 2026
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
- Housing Availability: Yes
- Deliver high-quality care for children ages six months to four years, attending to their personal needs including feeding, diapering, and rest time
- Create and maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment that complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to childcare team members to ensure consistent care and service standards
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, guardians, and coworkers regarding children’s routines, progress, and needs
- Develop and facilitate age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, story time, indoor/outdoor play, and group games
- Maintain accurate attendance and booking records and support administrative functions as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success and smooth operation of the childcare center
- 18 years of age or older – required
- High school diploma or equivalent – required
- 1 years of experience working with children – required
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently throughout the day, the position requires lifting and carrying children while playing or in the Day Care
