What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media position at Vadeto Group?

We are looking for someone with a drive for social media and influencer management. An entrepreneurial Social Media Manager who can bring skills and passion to a dynamic and evolving industry and identify brand partners across social channels. To be successful, you effectively combine creativity, technology and data to drive our social media efforts forward. Our Social Media Manager will develop and refine strategies, brainstorm and execute unique ideas, and present results on performance.

We are looking for:

  • 2 years proven work experience in gaming/sport industry
  • Drive innovation in our approach, voice and tone, content and usage of social platforms.
  • Expertise in identifying and understanding social trends and how to use them.
  • Proven record of creating impactful creative ideas.
  • Data driven, ability to analyze and understand data and gather insights for new ideas. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Later or other web analytics tools preferred.
  • Manage gift and paid influencer campaigns, via direct partnership or through third-party platforms, including managing contract negotiations, strategy briefing, and content creation approvals
  • Build relationships with influencer and celebrity talent agencies/PR teams to grow brand reach and identify opportunities for partnership.
  • Develop larger-scale plans for influencer outreach and ambassador programs.
  • Ability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated ability to write creative content for newsletters and social media.
  • Develop and execute email blast campaigns.
  • High-level thinker with strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to display supportive behavior and communicate positively regarding department goals and objectives.
  • Ability to maintain and foster sensitivity and respect for a culturally diverse work environment.
  • Proven track record of growing brand new accounts, fostering genuine communities and collaborating with ads, design, copywriter, email etc.
  • Effectively understand the scope of varying customers’ and manage multiple budgets.

  • Ability to efficiently organize, prioritize and track numerous tasks and deliverables often involving multiple contributors, and clients.
  • Build and execute a digital marketing strategy for multiple accounts through competitive research, benchmarking and best practices using a conversion focused approach.
  • Oversee the day to day management of social media campaigns. Includes creation of campaigns, creative assets, stories, scheduling
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (ex. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Able to maintain a very flexible and “always on” work schedule to meet the 24/7 needs of social media
  • Excellent knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Vero, Tik-Tok, key international channels and potential new channels.
  • Excellent knowledge of paid strategies, tactics, and technologies including paid social prospecting and retargeting.
  • Excellent knowledge of organic SEO, Video SEO, and paid SEO.

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager, having grown accounts from nothing
  • Hands on experience in content management.
  • Motivated, organized, self-sufficient, and takes initiative
  • Witty humor - looking for a caption king or queen.
  • Knowledge of gaming community or gamer themselves.
  • Excellent copywriting skills in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent graphic design skills.
  • Extensive photo and video editing skills
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Production experience is a bonus.
  • Advanced level of Spanish and English in reading and writing.
